That contract is going to hurt once he reaches his late 30's, but overall a very very good resigning by the Bruins. I was hoping one of Chara or Bergeron would hit the open market, but obviously that is not going to happen now...Oh well I've still got the Brad Richards dreams alive and burning.

Bergeron got a NTC with his 3 year extension.
Pavelec was diagnosed with a concussion, no one including him know when it happened. They aren't sure if it happened when he hit the ice or before.

I don't mind the contracts. Who knows what the cap will look like in a few years. Could be a steal, could be a bust. One thing for sure, he is a stud on the back-end and a pivotal to the core of the team. Hopefully the team learns to play hockey for 60 mins and not 20 or they are fucked.
