it's a marred season, lockout first, and now the two most exciting players out for good.
When it comes to Malkin i don't even care about BBKL, so i just hope the retards in the Pens organization don't screw it up like they did with Crosby and leave him out for long enough.
One should learn from his mistake, right?
well, the NHL never does apparently (not speaking of this particular concussion, where the only thing that could have helped was a better helmet).

Malkin (head) will be re-evaluated by doctors Sunday. He is no longer suffering headaches or disorientation, so it's possible that he does not have a concussion.
Spin: Malkin will miss Sunday's game with the head injury, but if he is able to pass concussion tests, he could return sooner rather than later.

Malkin has indeed suffered a concussion and will not travel with the Pens for their three-game road trip in the coming week.
Spin: Pens' coach Dan Bylsma said Malkin initially suffered some memory loss after sliding back-first into the end boards Friday night against the Panthers. Get Malkin to your fantasy bench ASAP, if you haven't already done so.

He has been diagnosed with a concussion but isn't having the PCS like dizziness, nausea, etc.
