Honestly as a Sens fan it sucks to have Karlsson out, but at the same time really don't think Cooke meant anything by the play. A lot of it was about him trying to maintain his balance/ pin his man going into the boards, its unfortunate that it was him, and Karlsson (if only it was Da Costa instead) but accidents happen. Good year to tank at any rate.

ironic thing is, the play should have blown dead when the puck hit the netting.

CBS logic:

Desjardins traded to TBL
The Canadiens have traded Cedrick Desjardins to the Lightning for fellow goalie Dustin Tokarski, the team's official site reports.
(Updated 02/14/2013).
Fantasy Analysis
Cedrick Desjardins returns to the Lightning-- who he started two games for in 2010-11 -- to provide the organization with some goaltending depth behind Anders Lindback and Mathieu Garon.
Still listed on MTL.

Nick wroteCOLON Kules would be the fit for next to Malkin, but he's already got a high end winger in Neal. Crosby however is playing with Kunitz and ScrubX... neither of whom are adding to his totals.
for the record, so far the one real SCRUB in the Pens top 6 has consistently been playing with Neal and Malkin, not with Crosby.

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie

The bottom line on Manny Malhotra: there are deep concerns his eye injury/vision are not at level to allow him to safely play the game.

-- Not considering retirement yet, but will not play the balance of the season.

Crazy, I saw them talking about it the other night in Van game. Sucks. they are just starting to turn the corner to getting some big players back and they lose another.

call it whatever you want (English is not my first language so i don't know what the best term would be here), the term you use doesn't change the action that happened.
