i'd have a hard time trying to decide if i like Hodgson or Turris

i'd think Hodgson's upside would be more, maybe? but gosh it's a tough one.

Seems crazy to me. But hey, turns out I don't like Turris as much as some in the league. I think this came up when Shiv offered me him for Oshie as well. I'm not a fan/believer in Kyle Turris, note taken

there has been an obvious jump in his career numbers in comparison to his PHX days, and that's what gets most people their boner on KT. forget the comparison, then he just becomes a pretty nice, just above mediocre/somewhat high ceiling centre with a very reasonable cap hit. people tend to see the 3.5m and hopes he becomes an absolute stud playing under that salary which makes his nonexistent fantasy ego value skyrocket.

Turris will prove he has one of the best contracts in the NHL after this season if he hasn't already. Makes a pretty good case for giving Kadri some term at or just under 4 million.

funny thing is its probably less value than getting duchene in a 2:1 from you, but ive just about convinced myself to do it out of sheer boredom.

I'm not even sold on duchene believe it or not.

Roy makes it sound like he's going to lean on duchene as their star as the isles do jt.

I even read that he's going to consider giving him the C.

Not sure if he'll go that far though.

duchene is not and in all likelihood, never will be on JT's level. JT is bordering on superstar already - beginning to be mentioned in the same breath as your crosby, malkins, datsyuks...duchene will be a great C for a long time, but he won't reach JT's level im fairly confident - he may even slip down to #2 behind Mackinnon.
