I've lived from coast to coast. My favourite places are montreal, toronto, and then the coasts. The three prairie provinces are as ugly as it gets. NB is ok, but it doesn't compare to NS, PEI or NFLD on the east side of the country.

BC is beautiful, but old montreal is just spectacular and my favourite city! Lots of nice spots to visit in this country!

Please add your story, I know Matt has been out and around, but have no idea of your own travels - however I see that you saw the humour in what I said. Lots of the guys haven't and/or don't want to share their story - all in good fun here at the BBKL.

Lived in PEI and now Alberta, visited Ontario and BC. Favourite place by far has been my small sample size of BC, Kananaskis and Kelowna.

Toronto is the only city I've visited and thought it was alright ... almost like a flatter version of San Francisco. Cleaner though.

Toronto was nice to visit but that would be about as much as I would want to do there. Southern Ontario in general does not interest me. Lived in Calgary for a year or so and it was a nice city but that was how i realized I am not a city guy. My city of 70,000 is about as big as i would want to go. I never made it to BC coast but I would have to agree it has everything. It is a dreamland with mountains, oceans, city's nature, etc all very close. I was born in Halifax and brought up in cape Breton so I have a love of the ocean and miss it even only being an hour away. Worked in PEI for 3 years and while it is fun in the summer, it would blow to live there in the winter. Quebec is just amazing. Despite my lack of french speaking, i have always had amazing experiences every time i went. The Gaspe area is just amazing. NB is a nice spot for outdoor activity's. Amazing hunting, fishing, camping, trail systems, etc. For a small province it has just about everything in moderation. Oceans, good sized rivers, Appalachian style mountains, etc. Only problem is it is one poor ass province. Official bilingualism is just stupid for a poor province.

I hate living in Calgary, this city really does suck. But the money is nice, so there's that. And PEI does suck to live in during the winter.

Yea it grew old pretty fast for me. My brother lives there now. I just missed the ocean and trees when living there. Loved the mountains though, when i went. I really dont like people much. Big city life is not for me. Love going to visit all these citys like LA, NY, TOR, MTL, PHX, BOS, etc...living there, not so much. Definitely lots of financial opportunity in Calgary. There is a trade off living in the Maritimes with respect to income and lifestyle. Never going to be wealthy but most Maritimers, whether they live there now or not will always want to come back.

Move to Stockholm. Nicest people in the world.

I would love to go to Europe. Never been across an ocean before. Cuba, Mexico, Canada and US is the extent of my travels.
