If we can enforce this, I'm all for it.
I know I'm not in the playoffs yet, but all this week-to-week lineup is fun and challenging as hell and all, I just find it a bit "unfair" sometimes especially during the playoffs
life is unfair.

good fuckin riddance as far as im concerned.
especially one who talks as much shit as Kareem does.

I do wish, however, that cbs was like yahoo and we could edit lineups every day

I don't even mind the weekly lineup, it's just that I hate their live scoring, and wish I can see a charted breakdown of the stats each players produced any day I want in a linear calendar format that I can scroll through instead of having to make a custom fucking report under stats tab

Yeah, to be perfectly fair if we are striving for realism, no hockey team in the NHL sets its lineups on Monday, and hopes for the best throughout the week. It does make it more challenging though and allows for more upsets.

I have said before that it would be too much of a headache in the regular season but to have 1 or 2 free lineup edits per match in playoffs would allow teams to deal with adversity. I know it is part of H2H but it sucks to go down due to injuries and be helpless to remedy the problem.

makes it tougher when you aren't setting your lineup each day...
I personally like the change from the yahoo ones where you set them daily.

I like the emergency call up system more. Keeps it legit without compromising gp

I think the best thing would be:
Friday morning, you're allowed to make up to 3 changes before the weekend. Not an "any time" change. One shot, Friday morning before the weekend bonanza.

Interesting responses to be sure...To clarify, I did not quit because I lost to Shiv, I think he is an awesome GM with an awesome team, the loss itself stings, that goes without saying, but it isn't why I quit. It's the realization that an entire years worth of work can be thrown out the window with a couple of days of bad luck that I have literally no control over. It sounds stupid to say because we all know that in theory, but it didn't really settle in for me until this week, and I will be honest when you spend as much time on something as I have it really makes you question the entire process, and whether or not it is worth it. In 3 years I have one first round win, that is just a horribly unproductive, and unsatisfying use of my time. That said, I still enjoy the league and it's members (less since this thread), and plan on remaining as a poster.
You guys are more than free to wait, or do whatever you want with Washington, but this isn't a decision I made in haste. I first contemplated it Tuesday in a talk with Billy, and then convinced myself it was the right decision the following couple of days.
And can I just say, I think it's hilarious that the individuals I have had the least discussions with in this league, particularly on a personal level have the most to say about my character, and conduct in real life, to quote a line from Scott, "most of you are my bitches, anyways."

Peace homie
Two people bettered me consistently in this league, yourself and Kyle, I'm not ashamed to admit that. You are both excellent managers, good luck the rest of the way.
