as for joining the CC I would consider when there is an opening, just let me know

I ask the CC for two things to think about ....

1. Reconsider my warning

2. Durning the summer season make dates when team pages have to be up to date... it would save alot of this bull shit (say once a month on the first)

thanks CC
Your team page ALWAYS has to be up to date. Sure, if you made a trade a few days ago it's not a big deal. But last December?

Your opinion isn't a rule Mike, no need to pull a Scott. and please fine @ least 10 members for their current team pages, if you expect people to follow rules, they need to be clear.

It is a rule.

Kareem and Scott will be looking through peoples team pages soon. I will surely support the warnings if they're warranted.

It's definitely not a rule, and doesn't make sense to enforce something like that during the middle of the off-season (summer IIRC).

It is a rule.. and common courtesy to keep your sub-forum neat and as up-to-date as absolutely possible. What the fuck is so hard about making a move, dropping a player, etc.. and updating accordingly. It takes 5 seconds..

As for Cliff.. your sub forum's been out of whack for almost a year with multiple friendly nudges from others and myself to clean it up. It's really inexcusable. Take 5 minutes and spell check too please.

I was one of the GMs whose team page was out of date. Kareem gave me a heads up on msn saying that it's is necessary to be on top of it in the off season. It took me about 5 minutes to make sure all my assets were searchable. I don't see what the big deal is. Just keep your page up to date.

In a perfect world, we'd find a site where we can do all our trading and drafting and roster management in one place and keep track of all our pieces that way and just use this message board as a discussion forum. When it comes down to it, it can be a hassle to have our draft, trades and roster management done here but it has to be this way given how unique and in-depth this league is. But given this fact, we've all got to make enough of an effort to post our information properly. At a bare minimum, we shouldn't have misspelled names and inaccurate data. I don't think we should kick guys out on this fact alone but it should be a mimimum expectation for everyone. It's not just for your sake but it's for everyone else. Just do things correctly, it's a small thing to ask. Thankfully we do this on the computer...just copy and paste names and salaries...all that info is available for us. Technology does too much for us as it is...I'm really getting tired of how lazy people can get because of the fact a machine can do a lot of things for us.

With all the brains in here, i am unsure why we cannot come together and build the ultimate fantasy draft tool for roster and cap management that is maintained in a web environment. All it would have to be is a database with a front end user interface? simple right? come on Matt...
