haha of for sure, best shot in the NHL imo...well other than Stamkos's one T but for regular shots, he takes the cake.
Semin's wrist shot is unmatched, there isn't another player in NHL history who even compares IMO, the release, accuracy, flex and velocity is just unreal. Perhaps the most impressive thing about his shot is that he can get it off just as well standing still as he can moving forward.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

The first one, on his back foot, leaning back, while moving backwards. That's all wrist. Unreal.

I don't know how his shot is still under apreciated but when ever I hear talk about the best goal scorers in the league his name is never mentioned. I realize he is in a shaddow but his shot is just unreal.

It's one of the reasons I continue to preach at any given opportunity. Nobody appreciates him. Realistically, he gets talked about 4th most on that team behind Ovechkin, Backstrom and Green. Part of me wants him to go the FA and sign a long-term deal on a new team in the summer, but the other part wants me to see him re-sign long term because of the, albeit small chance, he goes to the KHL.

I have ALWAYS argued with neel about this. I've always said that if Semin ends up going to a team where he is the focus of the offence, he will be a 50 goal scorer year in and year out.

You are usually pretty respectable with your offers. Thats a good thing. You know there is no point in starting with shit fuck offers if you actually have an intention of getting something done. This is not a yahoo public league. The lowballs are insulting to everyone. GM's in this league are pretty knowledgeable. But sometimes, one GM considers an offer a super lowball while the one offering has a total different player evaluation going and thinks its fair. That can happen sometimes. I call those guys, delusional... ;)

That couldn't of happened.. I had Carter last season before you had Giroux and I just re-acquired Carter before this season well after you traded Brown. I think I offered you Toews for those too and at that time, that was a very respectable offer. Nice try though.

Not a bad trade at all in hindsight. Although Parise will come back with a vengeance and a 7-8 million dollar salary next season lol... I'd do that trade again right now to quote Brian "fuck-face" Burke

I hope it does implode. Ron Wilson is no longer a relevant NHL coach.

Andrew Krystal is trying to organize a walk out during a game. lol...It would actually have a powerful effect imo. Imagine if ACC was empty during a game?

There are no plans for drastic change in Toronto, including the firing of head coach Ron Wilson.

"No coaching change," said Maple Leafs GM, Brian Burke via e-mail, no doubt frustrated by his team's play and the predictable line of questioning that inevitably follows each Leafs' loss.

Fans at Air Canada Centre called for Wilson's job during a 5-0 loss to the Edmonton Oilers.

The hometown crowd's frustration grew when Sam Gagner scored with three seconds remaining in the second period to put to the Oilers up 3-0.

Gagner's eighth goal of the season killed Toronto's comeback hopes and displayed the Leafs' inexperience and unwillingness to fight back.

Watching Edmonton's youth in Taylor Hall and Jordan Eberle shine at the ACC was painful, however, discontent in Leafs Nation won't be enough to end Wilson's reign.

"Have the players quit on Wilson?" "No," said a source close to the team.

Brian Burke and Maple Leafs' management continue to work the phones in search of a trade, but there is no deal at the moment the team believes is even remotely worth considering.

A minor trade, fourth liner for fourth liner, to change the look of the team would also be an option, but even the simple transactions appear to be impossible to nail down.

Veteran forward Colby Armstrong is expected to return this weekend after missing 16 games with an injured finger.

Armstrong is considered "likely" for Saturday's game against Tyler Seguin and the Boston Bruins.

I was actually listening to that, not a bad idea, but on the whole Krystal doesn't know hockey.
