Not to be a pain in the ass, but it's not semantics. Had he posted the auction close at "9am Eastern Friday morning" the argument would be more about the meaning of the timing and my bid would have been arguably late. However, because he specified EST, my position is technically correct, and therefore the bid was in on time.

Do you really think he meant 10AM or 9AM for his local time zone? He obviously meant 9AM, he used a wrong acronym so seems silly to argue over that.

Oh, I think he probably meant 9am Eastern, but that's not what he posted. I keep adding the term "technically" because it is a technicality.

Bruyns I think also a lot of gms have decided on direction of their teams (entirely rebuilding, or entirely competing) and after a few years they've managed to put themselves on the way to that direction. So less shuffling needs to be made unless a team comes to a point they change directions. from rebuilding to competing or vice versa.
