It's something I wouldn't dare deal with until the summer when the Rangers sort it out. Mark has a couple of good chips he play when it all works itself out.

Mik is in interesting spot where he's got goalies from three different clubs. The cheap Shesterkin/Georgiev combo would be a great situation for a contender with a lack of cap flexibility.

Sorry Mik - you mentioned just about everyone else being talked about in the trade proposal - looked like you waived the non-disclosure agreement to me. Was only fair that I disclosed the overall picture at that point.

You forget that to me GP is crucial, both this and next year. Yes, Guri replaces Perry GP and for quite some time, but I cannot run a Stalock/Hank combo for next year. Too much risk - not even Matthew would do that. The trade then becomes Perry + Georgiev + new goalie next year for Guri and Stalock. Already the straight up value was not good for me, but taking everything into consideration, it becomes even worse.

You underestimate how self destructive I am. I started this season with 1 goalie (Francouz) on an NHL roster, and he only had 2 games of NHL experience. Luckily domingue was traded out of Syracuse to new Jersey in november where they desperately needed help and I got a few games out of him.

I actually think if Lundy doesn't retire then Lundy + stalock would definitely hit gp. Georgiev needs to be traded in order for you to make gp next season, cuz if Shesty gets the starter job, then George and Lundq will need to split backup gp, whereas having backups on 2 different teams is a fairly safe bet for gp.

He was probably making too much money to be claimed - that and poor timing. Notice how they never really brought him back up? He would have been claimed had he gone back on waivers during the season. Pens snuck him down at the right time I suppose.

Um no. Mik is def in the top 3 for worst offers made regularly. I don't think anyone expects overpayment, but I do think people expect Mik to not offer euro scrub #89 and #90 at the end of his roster when he wants to buy a player.

I feel like we need a "bad offers" thread. People can post what they receive for everyone's amusement. It would maybe deter ppl from making terrible offers they don't want exposed.
