You labelled him a fully developed player at 20, which suggests there is less room for him to grow as compared to others. You elaborated further by stating he is not as flashy as others. How else should I read into that?
I said fully developed in quotes... and said not peaked... and quickly explained that they are already in their projected roles. I seriously thing your a selective reader sometimes..And I don't think John is as flashy as Cam or PK... ditto with Couture compared to Hall or Eberle.
I read your bracketed comment (not peaked), but that doesn't change what you said, that Carlson is a "fully developed prospect", which means there is less room for him to grow, the only other possible explanation is that you think he is so far developed that no other rookie defenceman is on his level, which clearly isn't the case. Perhaps you should re-read what you yourself wrote.

Also Carlson is just as flashy as Cam, but you can't see that because you are as impartial towards him as I am towards MSP.

LOL, you do realize how idiotic it is to use shooting percentage this early into a players career, and this early into a season to demonstrate how good a shooter someone is, right? Furthermore shots include slap shots, I believe I wrote above that I "wish he would use it (wrist shot) more."

Carlson has a great wrist shot, to even suggest otherwise makes me question your viewings of him.
Ohhh Kareem... i clearly said his shot isn't good, your arguments always find some cornerstone to tear down... LOL

or wait

MSP4LYFE wroteCOLON Yeah it's weird, even routine wristers seem to catch them off guard. I wish he'd use it more.
As in he owns more dangerous shots.

Or were you saying, " what would normally be a routine save for a goalie from a wrister by another player is a hard/difficult/tricky save when John is the shooter" ?

He is a good shooter, 5% is a nice mark for a dman, and making good use of his shots, also really impressive is Carlsson own-zone play... easily the best of the rookie d-men.

15% for Shatty is a clear, and I mean CLEAR sign that things are going his way... as he's not even that great a shooter... more normal status for an offensive-first dman.

Yes, as in something about his shot confuses goaltenders, even softies that should be routine saves find a way to generate a goal or rebound.
