Not at all, new pieces of information were being revealed daily as both sides of the story came out. I made my comments after hearing what Allaire had to say but before Burke had his press conference.

Good buddies, eh?

1 of 4 criteria for an NHL player to sign in the KHL (note, limit of 3 per club, only 1 non-national):
- Has played in the KHL;
-150 or more games in the NHL over the last 3 years
- Represented his country at one of the World Championships, World Junior Championships or the Olympics;
- Is a a Stanley Cup finalist, or a winner of one of the individual awards by the NHL

According to Dallas Eakins Paul Ranger was the best player on the ice during the Marlies scrimage this morning.

Benn to the German league?

This is looking like a lockout both sides are ready to wait out. Neither representing the fans.

Time for the AHL to get HD cameras in their buildings and market a TV package, I'd buy it right now.

Nhl is a fucking farce. If i had to guess, there will be a lockout again the moment the next CBA expires.

If these labour negotiations end the season, we as fans should seriously consider boycotting the NHL because that would be absolutely unacceptable. The two sides only disagree on a few percentages over the first year, their numbers are near identical over the second year forward, it's amazing to me that both sides would pursue a lockout over that. It shows absolutely no respect or appreciation for the fans.

so far they've lost 100M, or less then 1% over a 4 year term, still well within the amount they are arguing over.

Loving the WJC rewind, what a team that was! Phaneuf and Weber are just epic! And no shit we won, half of our team are impact NHLers, I remembered this as dominant, but not like this. Ovy and Malkin are beasts, notably heavier then many of the Canadians, but neither has anything going on.
