I have such a hard time taking a D in top 7 let alone top 5. They tend to drop in most leagues I’ve been involved. The only D’s I had zero trouvle selecting in the top 7 were Provorov, Doughty,Pietrangelo and Hedman.

Exactly, so seeing Nemec go before a guy like Savoie in a fantasy league seems wrong. The thing is Savoie is a risky pick that could either become the best player of the draft or bust while Nemec floor is quite high.

Well given those guys went low and end up being quite good it makes sense that people eventually catch on and start taking the dmen higher as they should be.

I own the 4th overall in my money league after winning it all this year. I’m either going to trade down or take Savoie at 4th overall. I really like savoie ceiling. I’m definitely not taking Nemec after getting Simon Edvinsson at 11th overall in last year draft. I understand we should simply go by bpa vs need but at time you simply go with your intuition.
