He 10000000% deserved a suspension. He grabbed his head and tried to slam it into the glass. 1 game would have sufficed, but I'm not that surprised he didn't received a suspension.

The initial cuff to the head isn't anything but the grabbing of his head and banging it against the glass was dirty...no other way to say it. Hank isn't hurt so I can live with just a fine. That was Shanahan's rationale that Weber didn't get suspended.

But I'm still sick of this "no injury, no suspension".
Weber's action was more the intent of grabbing his face and smashing it into the glass. If I intend on 2 handing you on the face, and you duck, does that mean I shouldn't get a suspension of some sort? Because I can guaran-damn-tee a suspension would ensue.
Accidently clipping somebody in the head, a hockey play while making a hit, leads to a suspension.

I thought he should have gotten 1 game. I'm not up in arms about the no-suspension. But defending it as a non-issue IMO isn't right either.
He'll be on a close watch the rest of the playoffs, and I bet he'll get a 1 game suspension at some point for something the hockey world deems less violent than this. Because he's on the watch, and a questionable hit will come up because of how physical Weber likes to play, and he'll get a 1-gamer.

There was clearly some intent to injure going on there.
He took the back of his head and drove it into the glass. It was almost as if I had gone back in time 10-15 years and was seeing Stone Cold Steve Austin smashing someones head into the turnbuckle.
There have been suspensions this season for far less!

Bah, imO totally overblown.
You can make it sound as gruesome as you want, but it really wasn't much on the scale of what goes on in a hockey game.
What Komi did to _____ puhing his head into the ice multiple times was way worse.... And it's nothing.
The most dangerous play in that sequence is zettty's hit on Shea. IMO

It could have been much worse, because Weber's intent was there. That's my point in all of this. You can blow it off as nothing because Z wasn't hurt, or whatever. But it's not a hockey play.
I love playoff, aggression, physical hockey more than anybody.

easily a suspension, you just love weber so you won't admit it.
