Not like I was pm, yet I knew I was up. Just gotta be active and stay alert.
Good for you, Frank.
Don’t get pissy with me!! Was just pointing out the obvious which was that not receiving a pm is a shitty excuse for getting skip. Just be aware when your pick is getting close otherwise you snooze you lose.

I agree we should still send a pm to the following gm once you made your pick. Good luck with your upcoming picks!! If you want to be mad at someone then it should be Kimmer since he forgot to pm you.
Not getting a PM should be the only excuse to miss a pick. I shouldn't have to sit here for the 16 hours ahead of my pick to make sure I'm there when it's my turn. If that's how you operate then fine. But I have other things I like to do with my time.

Please don't give me the fake pleasantries, I'm not here for it.

Nice pick Kyle...was hoping some of the better goalie prospects would make to me in the 6th.

are we really blaming people for being active and following the draft closely? if you can't or you don't want to, and fail to make your pick on time when you don't get a PM, it's okay.

But blaming the new GM for being on top of things is nonsense. It's not like you need to stare at your screen for 16 hours to know your pick is going to be up soon lol, especially when the draft is moving so slowly

Who is blaming frank? Frank made a backhand comment to koomz and some ppl had something to say about that. He had no reason to make such a comment to koomz as far as I’m concerned. Koomz didn’t get a PM, twice now in fact, and he should have. That’s it. No “oh but you could just pay attention and keep an eye on things bla bla bla”….foh lol

Thanks Scott! He’s a bit of a project but which goalies aren’t really? Could we see a goalie run now?

That's a little counter intuitive, isn't it? The faster the draft moves means the more likely you are to need to pay attention because your pick would come up faster than it would otherwise. All I ask for is a PM when my pick is up, and twice in a row I was not sent a message.

And I didn't blame Frank for anything. I let him know it was just exceptional of him that is on bbkl 25 hours a day. If only we had superlatives.

Checking in the homepage once every 8 hours doesnt seem like a crazy ask. You should have been sent a PM but things happen.

No.

The bottom line is there was no PM sent TWICE in a row. Everything else is just white noise.

I got better things to do then wait but I do log in a few times a day. This way I can’t miss my pick unless I’m sleeping and even then it’s on me. Funny that you think you know me just because I’m a active gm. I still have a life outside of my pools but I’ll admit that it’s hard to go a day without logging in. I have my hands full with 3 kids, all under 7(16 months to 7).

No.

The bottom line is sign in if you have a pick coming up at least once every 8 hours.

Both should happen. Neither did. We're all guilty before our God Lee, Lord of the draft, and father of efficiency.

Agreed, and so the great debate continues. Sent message to Mik, we'll see which Euro he picks. I think he's going Finnish with this one

There is no rule on the books but it's certainly encouraged that you get a hold of the next guy just to help keep this draft moving along. It takes a minute to send a short message...not much to ask to save us from having to wait 8 hours between picks.

I'd certainly say we're not all obligated to watch this place around the clock...you do what makes sense to you.

There's a reason we build in so much time to get this entire draft done...we'll hit some slow spots in the draft. We seemed to chug through the first three rounds. Round 4 and the start of 5 has been a little slow. Nothing to panic over...we should get this with time to spare ahead of July 7.
