I think he's already said he doesn't want to play there... Why create that ugly situation?
Grab yourself a top 6 forward + 1st + good goalie for him
Trade Nash for a top 4 dman + 1st + prospect.
Team could be better next year and have some good pieces set to join; environment and organizational culture are MAJOR variables for successful teams, arguably as much as getting the best players.
