Thats without the bonus cushion counting. With it we have 3.5 mil in space, without it -.915.
It still seems like a move is likely etc. Its also possible Kadri doesn't make the team out of camp.

The #'s presented here & cap-geek clearly have some errors, prior to this signing Burke said the cap number with everyone active is approx. 5M, with the ability to hit double digits with moves.

Capgeek factors in a penalty, but I think with the bonus cushion there is about 3.5 mil in space which seems about right.

They knew, Atlanta didn't even show up at arbitration.

I was going to say, how does MacArthur get awarded 2.4mil unless there was no opposition? lol

there arent many players in the entire league I hate more than him. I am not looking forward to watching him in canucks colours at all. Hopefully he is one of those players you love on your team or he gets injured and I dont have to look at his stupid face.

If its really 2-way he's dumb.... and Burke is a bully.... being the only 2-way fighting for a job means you have to be notably better to get the spot.

Well known fact
.
Good deal for the Leafs and Hanson isn't going to be hurt by a bit more time in the AHL. If he proves himself, he'll stick.

I like this for the Sharks, Griess/Niemi is a very solid tandem in goal, and given their age still have a ton of upside.

NHL gives PA an ultimatum.
http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/devils/n ... 4y7xGbE1OP
the league will grandfather the recently submitted Kovalchuk 15-year, $100M contract, Luongo's 12-year, $64M deal that is entering its second season and Hossa's 12-year, $63.3M deal that also is entering its second season into the CBA under the following conditions:
1. That the cap hit on future multi-year contracts will not count any seasons that end with the player over 40 years of age. The cap hit would be calculated on the average of the salary up through age 40 only.
2. That the cap hit on future contracts longer than five years will be calculated under a formula granting additional weight to the five years with the highest salary.

Mike Comrie signs with the Pens
And apparently Sid called him saying how happy he is that Comrie signed to play on his wing
That Andres Nodl, Mike Lundin for Comrie trade looks amazing now

Perhaps, but Lundin's still a no3-4 d-man, heavily underrated by all but Lightning fans.
