So annoying.SuperMario wroteCOLONLeafs were terrible tonight. As good as Kessel was, he has two clean chances to drive the net hard. Instead, he cut back like he usually does despite having a step on the defender. Very frustrating to watch.
I'm pretty sure in the rules it says that if the ref feels its a distinct kicking motion it doesnt matter if it hits someone else on its way into the net. I'm not aruging to motion cause I didn't see it, but it makes no difference if it went off Staal if the ref thought it was kicked.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONIt's amazing how much different a player Phil Kessel is without Joffrey Lupul, and I don't blame him JVR and Bozak don't think the game the way Lupul does, and frankly don't have the same ability to find open ice.
Also, the Bozak call was BS, for one there wasn't a distinct kicking motion, two it went off of Staal's skate before entering the net. That call completely changed the momentum of the game.
Guess that means Oleksiak took his spot? Funny cause Jordie was the reason i was trying to trade for Oleksiak after hearing him sing his praises. Wonder how much he likes him now lol.bergey wroteCOLONDamnit. Jordie Benn sent back to AHL, despite playing a solid 19+ mins a game. And no Laich still. What a wussy.
Well jeez. Your week is done now!kyuss wroteCOLONfacepalm worthy start... Schlemko goes down to a significant injury 3 minutes into the first game of the week, meanwhile the likes of Smyth (o goals in the previous 8 games) and Dwyer leads the offense for bcool.
Not 100% certain but I thought I remember hearing it during a Habs game earlier this year...MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONYou sure Chuck?
I am pretty sure you are right Chuck. I remember a Canucks goal being disallowed and was all up in arms about it as it went off a defender before going into the net. It doesn't matter if it touches the defender, he would have to have deemed control for it to discount the kick.Chuck Norris wroteCOLONNot 100% certain but I thought I remember hearing it during a Habs game earlier this year...MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONYou sure Chuck?
would be retarded otherwise.shooker wroteCOLONI am pretty sure you are right Chuck. 49.2 Goals - Kicking the puck shall be permitted in all zones. A goal cannot be scored by an attacking player who uses a distinct kicking motion to propel the puck into the net. A goal cannot be scored by an attacking player who kicks a puck that deflects into the net off any player, goalkeeper or official.
A puck that deflects into the net off an attacking player’s skate who does not use a distinct kicking motion is a legitimate goal. A puck that is directed into the net by an attacking player’s skate shall be a legitimate goal as long as no distinct kicking motion is evident. The following should clarify deflections following a kicked puck that enters the goal:
(i) A kicked puck that deflects off the body of any player of either team (including the goalkeeper) shall be ruled no goal.
(ii) A kicked puck that deflects off the stick of any player (excluding the goalkeeper’s stick) shall be ruled a good goal.
(iii) A goal will be allowed when an attacking player kicks the puck and the puck deflects off his own stick and then into the net.
A goal cannot be scored by an attacking player who kicks any equipment (stick, glove, helmet, etc.) at the puck, including kicking the blade of his own stick, causing the puck to cross the goal line.

i also believe i gave him to you for next to nothingShoalzie wroteCOLONDubnyk played well but I hate seeing them squander a 2-0 lead at home. Granted, he's started all 9 games...Dubnyk has seen the most shots in the league. I'd like that GAA to go down (most of that came from the awful 1st period against SJ in the opening week) but he's got a solid .925%.
