PS. I couldn't care less about how fat Prince Fielder is....I just wish we had signed him this past offseason. Him and Bautista with Encarnacion would be one of the nastiest 3,4,5's in all of baseball :(.
Ya, but technically, Miggy/Fielder/V-Mart would have been a sicker 3-4-5, IMO lol

I don't want Fielder, he isn't even earning his deal this season. What irritates me is that the Jays didn't sign pitchers like: Jackson, Colon, Kuroda, Bedard and Burnett even though they were signed to short, inexpensive deals, and the Jays had a need in the rotation. There is no excuse for that as far as I am concerned.

It will never happen, but god how nice would it be if the Jays signed Michael Bourn. He would be the perfect fit at the top of the lineup, and his defense is flat out elite in CF.

It looks custom made, doesn't it? Surprisingly, I found it with a simple google search.

The deal was a little crazy lol, would likely be hard for anyone to earn that contract.

Still isn't performing too bad from the looks of it. Mind you I am not looking at any advanced statistics here...but a 300+ average with 20 + Homeruns and 80+ RBI driven in is not bad. He could be slugging better I guess? Also seems to have really cut down on his K numbrs.

I think that Pujols one has got to be one of the worst contracts around.

His numbers aren't terrible by any means, same with Pujols, but when you are earning upwards of 20M a year, you better be in the top 10 of offensive production league wide, and neither are. Albert Pujols isn't even producing in the top 5 at his position.

Pujols might just be the biggest flop of the year? I can't really think of anyone else off the top of my head.

Lincecum has been struggling pretty hard this year. He didn't just sign a ridiculous contract though.

Vernon Wells, Alex Rodriguez, Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford, Ryan Howard, Carlos Lee, Alfonso Soriano, Carlos Zambrano, Justin Morneau, Barry Zito, Torii Hunter, Jason Bay, Josh Beckett, and Ichiro Suzuki are all much worst, but none of them have 9 years remaining on their deal...

Funny story about Tim Lincecum, he turned down a 100+ M contract at the end of last season, woops...

Yah some of the players you have listed there have just been PUTRID. Not only this year, but since they signed their contracts. The one that REALLY sticks out to me there is Barry Zito.

With regards to that contract Timmy turned down... "woops" is the perfect way to sum it up hahaha.
