Fuck, I didn't know that. I hope Lidstrom is back Friday. That'll make it 2 games. I can overcome that.

Don't you bring me into this...
That's really a bad break with Lupul...the guy was having a tremendous year.

It will be interesting to follow, if I can't beat you with an even games played advantage the rest of the way (nevermind 2 or more) I don't deserve to advance further. That said, I fully expect to pull out a victory. Pekka Rinne is a luxury on my team, not a necessity, ditto with Loops.

I just counted the games, and unless I counted wrong, I've got a 5 games played advantage the rest of the way (not including goalies) if Lidstrom and Lupul do not play the rest of the way. At worst I see it being a 4 gp difference because Lidstrom won't play b2b coming off an ankle injury.

Biggest day of the Week. Key Matchup: Rinne vs Brodeur.

Holy shit, Shiv. Nice. You're crushing Kareem -- I'm not sure if Kareem's 5 game advantage will help him at this point.

More than half the week is left though. And a lot of categories are close. 5 GP is huge in categories like PIMs, Hits, SHTOI and Blks. He also has a 1 GP advantage among Cs for FOW.

Not really, I'm already working under the assumption that I've lost S% and GAA. A change in that regard is a bonus, but not essential, scoring and peripheries are going to be the difference makers this week, and perhaps Wins if the Devils go on a losing streak. Furthermore, Sunday is the biggest day of the week, not today.

Nah man you need Rinne to win today. But it's all good.

No...I don't. If I did the week would already be over.

That is incredible, Lupul and Tyutin go down in the first week of playoffs, and Rinne has his first awful start in a month...This game is pointless.

All it has done is level the playin field. Lids trim is still out for me. And you still have a 2 GP Advantage. Though Rinne was tough luck

This week is irrelevant, the playoffs are a 4 week process and whether I lose in the first round or the final round, a loss is a loss, and without Lupul and Tyutin I will lose. It's disillusioning, you spend an entire year perfecting a team, and one or two injuries occur and it changes everything. It makes me question the point of this entire exercise, and whether or not I even want to continue with it, tbh.

If you do choose to leave, I'd like Hanzal and Brown for cheap please....

You can take over the team if you would like, but I will not compromise the integrity of the league by making lopsided trades, and yes I know you are kidding.

How are you bitching when you still have a 2 GP advantage?

I'm not bitching, in fact I am resigned to my fate, and content with whatever happens, Win or lose. I'm not making it past the second round, and that is ok. In an odd sort of way, I wish you the best, you have the best shot of making it far between the two of us. Good luck.
