I'd easily rather Crabb over Armstrong or Lombardi.

Id take him on the 4th line.

But I think you have to trade lombardi or armstrong. Just don't see Burke burying anyone in the minors.

You and Kareem pretty much summed up what I was going to post.. lol

none of them have played well lately... off-ice Army appears to be worth his weight in gold, and I guarantee he'll be money in the playoffs.

There's nothing that's either of them add that Crabb doesn't for a fraction of the cost.

Bah! I cannot even begin to complain about any member of our team aside from Franson, and we don't have anyone better he's in the way of....

Regarding Crabb, by all accounts he was the best Marlie for a very reasonable stretch, and he's been a very serviceable Leaf, nice hands on occasion and great compete level. Kadri sucked after his first few games (IMO), Frattin was very slow going to begin, but impressed the hell out of me after that (something like 1 in first 20 and then 9 in next 18 - physical despite the hits total).

Lombardi - w/e... as someone said to me recently " I go fast now" - sometimes. IMO his turnovers are the 2nd worst on our team, and he doesn't do enough positive to warrant looking past the mistakes. Easily the guy I could't care less about (in the group).

Ye, so good RW cannot let him on the ice for 1 minute versus any top line. Guy goes retard once he's tired, and has no compete level. He has a hard shot that he gets off quickly; gets to use it lots thanks to his ability to hold it in the zone; too bad his first role his defending as he cannot do it to a high enough level. I cannot handle his lazy ass efforts and casual approach to 1 on 1 puck battles.

Continually trading with Luke for who is dressed as our #6 @ under 15minutes. Ugh. I hate the guy at this stage; really liked the trade at the time and still do... just don't like him.

Lombardi's skating backs off defenders and leaves him with one or two odd man breaks a game, Crabb doesn't possess that tool, and when healthy Armstrong is one of the best two way pests in the game. Unfortunately he has been injured all year, and it shows in his play.

Nick is the only person I've spoken to who has an issue with Franson, it's odd. The Leafs coaching staff have praised him for a while now, there are reports that he is near untouchable, and courage whose opinion I respect more than any other hockey fan has had nothing but glowing things to say about him.

That said, I can relate to the feeling, I have disliked Luke Schenn's game even through all the praise and glory, and as Nick said, "felt like I was watching a different player."
