negative, I think brodeur is on his last legs...In fact he has looked like a shell of his formal self the last 2 seasons, this last one even more so. Varlamov on the other hand is a very young goalie who has already proven that he can play at the highest of all hockey levels, the NHL playoffs. The kids only going to get better and he plays on a super stacked team too to boot!

Brodeur may have ONE, MAYYYYY have one more better season left in him, but I doubt it.

Not to mention you can shell out brodeur to someone who needs a goalie and get a pretty decent return for him still...

Agreed, I actually feel it would be really smart for you to trade him now before he loses his value. You could still get a hell of a return for him but if you wait one more season i doubt you will get much at all
