It is unwise to cut out a trading partner completely. Especially a team with as many assets as TB. There are several managers I deplore in BBKL, however I continue to do business with them because it is mutually beneficial to do so. The wiser approach (IMO) would be to cut out the potential for gentleman agreement's with TB if you feel wronged. Cutting TBL out completely hurts you as much as it hurts him...

It is more complicated than that, we had agreed to a deal centered around Hoffman + Leivo for Hecht, you even agreed to the deal if Ruutu was added,

However I had dealt Ruutu moments earlier, so we instead settled on Kale Kessy, and since the earlier deal (with Ruutu) was confirmed I assumed this one was too. But unbeknownst to me we were not even close, and you instead shopped the offer to Frank as I was typing the deal out.

There was definitely some miscommunication in hindsight, but don't play it off as if you just made me an offer, and I assumed it was a done deal...

Yeah I agreed to the deal with Jarkko then checked the forums and saw your other trade. We talked for a bit and said I'd be interested in Kessy. I wasn't really feeling that deal so I asked around on MSN. Started talking to Frank, Frank offered/I asked for McKegg and some other stuff, I checked the forums again and saw that you post the offer I made you. I deleted that as it wasn't a confirmed offer, then finished the deal with Frank.

BTW, with TSN now reporting it, any thought of doubt about atleast an attempted comeback should be put to rest:

I never said that you couldn't trade the pick. But one would assume that a clause of " this pick cannot be used to select anyone other that Jagr" would move forward.

That wasn't the 'agreement' Lee. I tried giving u the not 1-2 guys clause and you sent a list of 7guys or something, I called that stupid and we came out with the 1st overall waiver and I'd pick Jagr -- and I was going to - had written it in on my teampage and cap calculation -- in these trade talks both Shep and I referred to the pick as Jagr.
