I completely disagree, Shooker was a top 5 GM in this league you don't just replace that...If you quit we couldn't replace you either.

And in response to Anton, I didn't see that post before.

Nobody is insisting on him staying. If he wants to leave that's his choice.

I think we're all waiting to hear from him or one of his real life buddies about whether or not he is in fact done, or if it was in the heat of the moment.

Agreed...

And Kareem, Shook would definitely be a tough guy to replace, I agree..

First and foremost, Shiv remind me never to confide in you ever again. It never ceases to amaze me how every time I talk to you about any problem or express an opionion on someone with you (especially as you usually start those conversations, except about scott but his and my dislike for each other is mutual) it comes out faster than you can say "Ah". I guess shame on me for never learning my lesson and always believing I could trust you to not repeat everything said to you in confidence...My bad.

I never said I don't like this league, not to you nor anyone else. In fact it's because I love this league and how in depth it is that I didn't quit ages ago. I dislike all the High School politics that go on in here and you all know what I mean. I actually wasn't mad at all the day I made that "I'm done" comment. I decided that it is was not worth it for me to be mad about such trivial things and that if this league was no longer fun for me, why the hell would I even continue to be in here. I also do have a job opportunity in hong kong starting in either September or December that I have been strongly considering taking and that also went into my decision. Those reason and those alone are my reasons for wanting to leave, not what TMZ was saying.

However after a lot of consideration and multiple discussions with my buddies I have changed my mind. As Nick and Kareem have suggested I can just take a less active role, still contribute and hopefully get back to enjoying this league as it should be enjoyed. I have invested too much time (more than I even care to admit) and have really enjoyed most of my time here. So I would hate to see some scrub gm come in just to get picked apart by all the vets just itching to bend the new guy over.

Before every gets on me for my grammar...I don't care, I work in the oil field. Good grammar out there is using only one Fbomb per sentence. Anyways enough fagg ball drama, you won't hear anymore bitching from me and I do expect some insulting rebuttal from shiv that I will gladly ignore. Sorry for all the crap to everyone else.

Best news I've heard all summer (Richards rumors notwithstanding), it wouldn't have been the same league had you quit.

MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONI don't understand all the Anti-Shook sentiments, from what I understand a potential job opportunity in Hong Kong is the reason Shook is stepping down, not an argument in one thread, though admittedly that stuff is getting old quick. Regardless it is foolish to speculate without concrete fact, until Shook formally resigns I am working under the assumption that he is a manager in this league. It would be a big blow if he quit, and I don't believe we could ever replace his: results, forum activity and hockey knowledge.
