There was a time when Fedor was #1 without a question, but in my opinion hes lost his only meaningful fight in the last four or five years. And I am definitely on the Overeem bandwagon. He has the tools to destroy everyone in the heavyweight division. However I still wouldn't rank him in my top 5. If he wins the Strikeforce Heavyweight GP I will definitely have him down as #1.

i actually considered putting one of ovechkin/bure there. i know you made this comment with sarcasm but seriously speaking datsyuk
in his prime is actually a top 10 talent all time when it comes to being elite at both ends of the ice. a lot of gms/coaches have spoken about how his 2-way play crosses over generationally.
