There are excuses, and then there is fact. I have the toughest schedule in BBKL, AND far and away the worst goaltending of all the contenders to this point, that's not an excuse, that is a fact. If you want to view that as a sign of your superiority, or as an excuse, than by all means do so...But don't act surprised when I whoop your ass the same way I whooped Scott's.

Goaltending and man games are 100% the reason I lost.. but those are excuses and they don't matter at the end of the day. My team outplayed Kareem's.. it showed when I won 7 skater cats.. but again.. excuses.. and I don't use them .

Good post Shiv. You speak nothing but the truth. It is so much more rewarding beating someone that does this. I am not a big talker normally but when one person likes to talk shit at you constantly with nothing to back it up, you have to respond. I think it is good for the league to see Kareem lose. The spike in forum posting is excellent as the excuses, that every other team deals with also, come flying out. Like i said in another post. Once the week starts, there is nothing you can do. Your fantasy team can not be controlled by how much shit you talk. You cannot cheer them on or punish them for bad games. No doubt Kareem has a wicked team and I will never not give credit when it is due, but when the respect is never returned, it becomes hard to keep quiet.

That would be valid, except that I beat you in the second half with less man games. The two days you beat me I scored a combined 4 points, with pathetic peripheries. The Isles beat me in that same stretch, and you did bring this up immediately after beating me...Nice try though.

But more importantly, I feel great about winning 7 skater cats with 6 less GP (Green sat out 2, Subban 1).Shiv isn't gaining too much ground as Mike put up a very good effort this week but man, my goaltending fucking chewed this week. 0-4 with horrible GAA & SV%. Your goaltending won this week for you (or more likely my shitty goaltending). The streak had to end at some point I guess.

Furthermore, stop using goaltending as an excuse, even if you had an above average week you would have lost, Halak played better than any other starting netminder last week, and Theo was awesome too, you were losing that stat regardless. By the same token, if my offense had played to it's potential (not above), I would have smoked you last week.

Huh? Elaborate please. This is a new twist that i do not understand the implications on how it affects the teams you are playing and the outcome. Are you saying that because you play NJ twice, that no one can compare to your schedule? I am just wondering, not implying. I would Like to understand where you are going with this analysis.
