on a more serious note, i truly believe if lemaire was coaching this team, the leafs would be a guaranteed playoff team.

I want a new generation of coach, one that is cerebral. I'm talking Guy Boucher, Babcock etc. I'd love Tippett, and maybe even Caryle. But even Cory Clouston has shown hes a thinking coach, and that is more and more what the game has become. There is a reason hitchcock, quinn and their ilk is finding it more and more difficult to get jobs.

Ron Wilson is getting some uneccasarry hate here, when he has the right personnel he is a championship calibre coach. The goal isn't just to make the playoffs, it's to win it all some day, Ron Wilson is the guy I want behind the bench when we are ready.

As for Ken Hitchcock, he is out of a job because it is hard to attract big name players, and keep them on a defensive minded club. Tactically speaking there is no better coach out there, and that includes Babcock (he'll be the first to admit it).

Fuck that...Lemaire plays a boring style of hockey, Id rather lose in exciting fashion, than win via the trap. Lemaire is a killer of the game, which ever he team he coaches I refuse to watch...
