This comment, made me think of something, what do you think is more impressive? Three 90 point scorers, four 80 point scorers, or five 70 point scorers?

SJS could concievably achieve the latter (Seto/Boyle, Marleau, Thornton, Pavelski, Heatley), I don't think that has ever been accomplished in modern day hockey.

SJS could concievably achieve the latter (Seto/Boyle, Marleau, Thornton, Pavelski, Heatley), I don't think that has ever been accomplished in modern day hockey.

sjs could pull off the five 70 point guys but i think its far more likely for them to pull off four 80 point guys.
Caps have four 70+ guys (ov, backstrom, semin, green) fifth would be hard. but you know flash was almost ppg when he returned last year.
i think detroit has a CHANCE but its tough (datsyuk, zetterberg, franzen, hudler, lidstrom)

complete team domination is way more impressive than 3 90p players. If they had 5 70's, which is not out of the question, they would become a legendary team talked about for years and years. Imo very impressive and neat to watch.

another thing that I am looking forward to watching is the chance there may be 5 or 6 30 goal men in vancouver.

The 2000-2001 Pittsburgh Penguins had 4 guys with at least 80 points (Jagr 121, Straka 95, Kovalev 95, and Lang 80) and then Lemieux with 76 points in 43 games. And the historic 5 forward PP. Then those 80's Oiler teams had major scorers too.. I think 1985-1986 the Oilers had 4 100+ point guys.
