We weren't on Fantrax in 2009-10 and a quick look shows he was 64th for D and had solid periphs too. Maybe CBS had him rated high but Fantrax score is pretty decent at comparing the impact a player has if the GP are similar. Sometimes you want a specfic stat so you don't care if their overall Fantrax score is low a la Matt Martin but for the most part it's not bad to give a quick glimpse of how good someone is.

Like I said I still have no issue with you declining the trade, I just thought talking down Getzlaf was unnecessary and took exception to calling 87 points 2 seasons ago "a few years" and using "sharp decline" to me it painted a picture of an aging player who used to be good and now isn't, but it gave me a chance to talk him up for anyone forgetting how elite he is. I like Dubi too for what he brings and think he is in a good spot next year on CBJ so I didn't need to try and say how inferior he is to Getzlaf I just hoped you wanted to upgrade your team enough to part with a couple picks that could end up not being impactful and assumed you had some cap space.

i was explaining to Kim how Getzlaf is no longer an 80 point player. 60+ is still really good.

Likely going to try and cut cap with a W or D instead of C. Couldn't get Scheifele+ either, but interested in the following players in a Getzlaf deal if their owners want to talk. Carter, Henrique, Brassard, Zibanejad, Monahan, O'Reilly. Hoping at the draft when league activity is up it will be easier to deal.
