I'm looking forward to it, no matter what the outcome a rival of mine will be knocked down a couple of pegs.

personally... I like banners more that have a player in a jersey I've never seen him in.

Bobby Ryan in Hartford green.

Eric Staal in the Avs gear.

etc.

build up for the season scotty. the NJD-PIT rivalry will be the most historic, most charged, most electrifying rivalry in BBKL.

Not true at all, the build up of the season is Islander vs Phoenix

This is a funny thread. Why dont we just give Shiv the cup now and start with 2011-12 season? I think Shiv needs maybe 2 more detroit players. That would be ideal imo. It is really a huge advantage to have as many players as you can from one team as it will get you more points and make you win more. I think some of you need to consider this as his trickery is going un-noticed. I will not give you Zetterberg but there must be a few more out there. Imagine all the points ou get when Detroit scores like 5 goals.....not fair.

actually although everything you said is true kyle, there is a downside to it. consider a week where detroit loses 3 straight games or even 2 of 3 games. i am almost guaranteed to lose that week because i havent diversified. the thing with diversification is that it finds you stability but at the cost of not so high returns. but imo stability > high risk/high reward. that being said, there are only a few teams in the league to have so many players from: Vancouver, Chicago, Washington, Detroit and SJ imo. because their win percentages are high enough to guarantee stability at a higher level. still its a high level risk game.

It's a thing of beauty, no doubt, aside from the Cammalleri banner (hands down the best one ever made) I like this one the most.

Wow...for a second there I thought I wrote this, the condescending writing style and use of language is so similar I had to double check, lol.

Or a week where your star goalie shits the bed has a GAA of 6, and your 80+ point players all put up nothing across the board.
Just saying.

Clearly Kyle was being sarcastic.

Do I play you Shiv? I'm trembling in fear as I await the answer.

Bingo...I was. I thought Kareem would have been the first to pick up on it...LOL. But Shiv did re-but my intended sarcasm in a logical manner. Kudos to him for that! It is a huge risk reward having so many players from the same team. Going from past experience though i think the risk is greater than the reward. That's as far as i will go with that, as I am not laying out what is obvious to me, to one of my greatest competitors. :) I let you know at the end of the season! ;) Right around the time when you are picking up the pieces and wondering how the dream season went down the drain and you lost out to the Bruins!
