Fraser wroteCOLONPersonally I think you are underrating Reilly considerably if you don't see him as a lock. Yea new player to the NHL, but he has a very NHL ready game from what I've seen.

With the hype surrounding Reilly in the offseason he has been a pretty big disappointment. -25 in 25 games in the AHL is ugly. Iowa is bad and his 11pts is only 3 behind the team leading 14, but it seems like he has to improve defensively quite a bit to be an NHLer

He put up similar NCAA stats to Schultz and he had 48pts in 34 AHL games at that age.

Yup definitely disappointed saw him being a contributor in the NHL for me from day 1 this year. That being said having a longer development curve than originally anticipated doesn't necessarily make all the hype around him unjustified long term.
