ahh, some fantasy I guess... I think when it comes to fantasy I'm fine with just fantasy hockey

I'm normally the same. Not a really fan of lord of the rings. Haven't even seen the Hobbit movies. But you should give Game of Thrones a chance. No TV show has ever had me as gripped as this show does week after week. It's more about absolutely brutal struggle for power, and amazing characters who will do unimaginable things to get there. And its so much more than that. There are some fantasy elements no doubt, but it is the amazing characters and absolutely shocking and unpredictable storyline that carry the show.
