This same logic applies to your Fisher + Tinordi for JVR trade. You cannot compare the stats of a C to a W or a W to a D in a stand alone scenario. Most Ws will crush Ds in SOG, STPTS for example. But there is relative value by position for categories. Which is what you are missing and why everyone else think Dave got crushed.

If I was Dave's trade buddy and this was in his first 2 weeks, I'd have vetoed it.
