i thought i read somewhere the period to claim those guys lasted something like a week (or a month?) after the draft was done.. ?
if not, what that short period of time i read about was referred to?

There is one on CBJ, but he is listed as being a member of PHI

Also I've noticed that Edward Pasquale is double listed in the FA pool.

this was probably one of the posts i had in my mind..however, i see this one is referred to a player that was not drafted in the real draft either (he couldn't, but let's forget about it for a moment), whereas Iilahti was not drafted in the BBKL but was in the real one, so maybe that's the difference.
I thought any player eligible for the BBKL draft was not available for claim out of the period Nick mentioned, but maybe a NHL draftee may be claimed out of that period even if BBKL draft eligible?

personally i'd like BBKL draft eligible players not to be available for claim no matter when, wouldn't it be simpler and clearer?
