Shep wroteCOLONPronger won't retire. Makes no sense.

If he retires:

- He loses all money he is owed
- His cap hit stays on the books due to 35+ contract

If he sits out until his contract expires:

- He gets paid
- Philly gets cap relief for him being on LTIR
If Pronger retires due to a severe injury (and it is deemed legitimate, entire process...) he get's back all of the money he is owed through his insurance. The Flyers would be on the hook for his cap though.

I remember there being some argument about Pronger's 35+ status. Some loophole the Flyers were claiming he signed it the actual extension before he was 35, despite the contract kicking in after. They claimed the wording made this not a 35+ contract, and the NHL was arguing with them about it. I don't recall who won actually.

Jacques Martin has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the Montreal Canadiens. Randy Cunneyworth has been named interim head coach. The team has gotten out to a 13-12-7 start this season and currently sits last in the Northeast Division.

We should bring in Martin as an assistant to fix our PK.

Rundblad and a 2nd.

Kinda steep, was expecting something closer to Wiercioch and a 2nd.

Nice passing from Rundblad, but the rest of his game is ass-cheeks IMO. Neither done much to impress moi.

Giroux practicing with the team so thats good. Seabrook took a nasty hit into the boards, hes got a concussion history so may not be good news. So far its just an "Upper Body Injury".

I don't really know what you guys (Karim/Inferno etc) were on Nick so hard about... the person who said stuff about the symptoms being just symptoms in common etc was me...
I wroteCOLONGiroux/Skinner/Michalek all are showing this "symptom", but I highly doubt any of them will be out nearly as long as Crosby did because in sports medicine, same "symptom" can happen to any player even though the player did not suffer as hard a hit as Crosby did, or even suffer a head injury for that matter. I'm very curious and interested to know as to what this "concussion-like symptom" these players are suffering in common from.
That was simply my point, and look at Giroux go at it already. Probably not close to returning, but Crosby didn't even think about practice at least til what, 3-4 months after the sit-out?
