He's failed to respond to even very large offers. No sympathy for bry - injuries suck - I do feel really bad for Sidney; shitty loss for the NHL , very scary.

Stevens seems like a temporary stop holder. Wonder how hard lombardi is trying to convince Sutter to come back to coaching. Lombardi wanted him way back when, and Sutter has shown to be a great coach, not the best GM though.

Carlyle seems like he would be a good fit too.

I think Sutter is first choice if he agrees to coach again. If not Stevens stays, if Stevens sucks for a month or two wouldn't be surprised if and only then we see Carlyle.

Quinn is only 68, figured he was into his 70s by now.

Rarely, aside from this past October. Write in English pretty often though.

And yeah, if he strictly referred to the fact Bry didn't even reply he might have a point, but still sounds like a lame comment to me.

Editing quotes to change context much? Regardless of how you read what I wrote, It's a very old BBKL story -> if it's not a low ball, it should at least garner a ' no thx'. On top of that etiquette (which really wasn't the purpose of the message), BCool's had TONS of opportunity to move the injury risk that is Sidney Crosby, I do not feel sorry for any GM due to injuries, I've had to completely change my team due to injuries (as have others i'm sure); having one big piece risks one big injury, this one not unexpected or unknown, but even with the injuries it's not a loss BCool needs to endure
