Norris re-injures his shoulder and he's going to be out again. Are guys rushing back from injury or this just two cases of bad luck?

I actually thought Norris was going to be out past January but I think their course of recovery just involved rehab and no surgery. Now, he apparently needs surgery. I don't pretend to a doctor...the way guys handle serious injuries...how much of this falls on the player to recovery or is it the recommendation of the team's medical staff? We obviously know the situation with Eichel and his neck issues.

He was, iirc, considered a top 10-15 pick who slipped a long way I want to say.

Ya when he was playing for Finland as an underager at the WJC he was considered a lottery pick and then his draft year he regressed and started slowly falling down the rankings.
