I am 100% positive Marner takes home far greater than 4.5 mil on his contract. People think these athletes don't have great accountants that minimize their tax losses. One of the agents said the most his clients lose is 20%. The whole tax thing is grestly exaggerated.

i think the wife has the case of crazies. articles now coming out left and right now on evander's end denying all allegations. I think both sides have some weight to it but it sounds like to me right now in my honest opinion I dont think evanders doing it (betting against self) on a nightly basis but maybe once or twice a season. he hit one of his career highs in stats like he stated himself but god knows u could prolly take a night or two off in those games and bet on his games, sure (but will be very hard to prove). But at the same time i dont think its as severe and life ruining as his ex puts it all over social media rn i think shes jus sour that she divorcing and wont have the same luxury moving fwd

absolutely true. that was my first instinctive perspective. hes made such a bad mistake in the past that this isnt surprising but we will eventually see truth unfold
