MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONUgh...I feel like I'm getting dumber by arguing with you. We aren't discussing just any center here, we are discussing one of, if not the best center prospects in the world today [comma splice, bitches]. You cannot compare his situation to Simon Gagne; [semicolon?] Gagne was nowhere near as talented as Seguin at the same age, not to mention that he was undersized for the positition as a teenager.
It's one thing to move an average to good centerman to the wing, it's quite another to move a potentially great center to the wing. Simply put Seguin is more valuable in the middle than on the wing, this isn't a revolutionary new [new = redundant] theory. Going forward no one on the Bruins roster is good enough to justify moving this type of talent to the wing. The only teams that could justify such a move are Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
Lastly [not a real word], I'm not speaking, im typing...Perhaps you should think before you type.[?]

1. Those are not two independent clauses.
2. Connecting two sentences to form one, my mistake was typing "his" as opposed to "Seguin"
3. Fair
4. redundancy isn't a grammatical error
5. Lastly is a word according to several dictionaries
6. It's not a question.
7. Bite me

Aww, he has his own form of English too!
Lastly is not a word, nor is firstly, secondly, thirdly, etc.

And he resorts to teenage crudeness.
As for lastly (can't believe I'm debating this): sure, you can debate (as many who enjoy butchering the English language do) that it is acceptable.

"Lastly" is not proper English guys. It's a word but it is more slang/informal. When structuring a paragraph where you are forming an argument you should not use "Firstly, Secondly, Lastly." Those are incorrect. It's always "First, Second, Third, Last/Finally."

It is a proper english word, however it can only be used in very specific contexts. So far as I can find anyways.
In any event this is good to know for the next time I write a formal english essay.

I have to admit I have seen 'lastly' in academic journals at least a couple of times, that is not to say they are some gold standard, but it is used even in the most over-edited source know to man

Hehe, this thread got kind of funny. I like Sheps response. For the record, I do not take the time to fix all my grammar mistakes when i post this much because i can type fast with all my fingers but i look at the keyboard.
And when it comes to me having to complete one of my technical documents or creating user manuals for programs i have developed, my grammar is impeccable. So blow chunks

You know you have someone flustered when they have to resort to photoshopped pictures of themselves to get back at you.

I'd add you, but you don't meet the height requirements for my adult friends page. Which means you would only get access to the PG stuff.
