Many of the best players to play for American teams have been Canadian. Not a big deal. Especially when you consider Matthews may go down as the greatest American born player ever (long way to go but he is trending that way)

Sundin has gotten much closer and dominated with much lesser teams. AM has an All-Star cast and is failing. He's got many years left to be the best, but the dude needs to rally an entire team. If he wins, it'll be epic.

I'd say pastrnak/matthews is still up for debate for best goal scorer. Pastrnak has slightly better goal/game over this and last season than matthews.

yes, i think the whole wrist thing is overplayed (media)
like yes, keefe just mentioned in words: "it's been a lingering issue for quite a while"

no, it just means hes had minor lingering pain that doesnt warrant surgery or long term downtime... bodies go thru pains and aches in hockey. hes a superstar. they wont just sit him for lingering pain.
i tweak my wrist walking my fucking dog... it lingers for like 3 weeks sometimes
pro hockey will do something similar or worse for an elite human specimen like AM34.

if it was that grave of a concern, he would've sat out/consulted for elective surgery a long time ago
i fully support still, of them taking every precaution for him as he's gone down long term with injuries before

Pastrnak = 57 goals in last 82 games
Matthews = 65 goals in last 90 games = 59 goal over 82 gm pace

To say matthews will be head and shoulders the next greatest goal scorer to ever live after ovi when he's barely beating current competition is pretty bold. He's had a great 20 game start to the season though.

Also, Mike bossy was pretty good.
