I also agree with you.

and people that say they can't breathe with a mask on is bullshit.

I have a brother in law with COPD and he is fine wearing a mask.

Watching the behavior of other people is probably hardest part of dealing with this drama-filled year...whether it's the virus or the friggin' election. I know there's a lot of good and decent people out there but man I don't like the daily reminders of who is a bonehead out there. As hard as it is to acknowledge stupidity, you can only control what you can control and that's your own actions. Are we going too far or not going far enough with protective measures? You're not going to catch me complaining...let's get through it and keep all stupid people at least 6 feet away from me.

That’s nice man. Should help but it’s also proper use moreso than the type of mask

Yep. You’d be amazed at how easily these people wear a mask when they are in the ED... but anyways, don’t get me started. Some people do actually have allergies to the stuff in the masks... but still. If most of us did it and avoided gatherings we wouldn’t be in this mess.

Excited to see a new signing...I wonder if the remaining RFAs get squared away in the next few weeks now that the future is becoming clearer.

This...people are just selfish and full of shit. You should see all the clowns I work with (managers included) who can’t bother to put their mask on properly. You go tell management and they are just full of excuses ... “ohhh it’s a big building...ooohhh they aren’t they close to you...ohhh you wear a kn95 mask you’re ok...” man, fuck off

N95's or N99's arent really suitable for regular people who need to go out shopping for groceries/staying around their neighbourhood for walks. Regular medical grade/procedural dental masks definitely suffice on a short burst of outside exposure. N95's should really not be purchased by non-healthcare providers so that hospitals always have them in stock for those that really need it.

At my hospital, the KN95s weren`t even approved for medical use, so that shows how effective they even are.

The thing that gets me is even if you’re 99% confident covid is a hoax, what do you get if you’re right? A lifetime of I told you so? Cool good for you.

In the presence of a potential deadly virus a logical person would still wear a mask because they acknowledge they could be wrong and it may kill them and there is no damage done by wearing a mask.

I guess preaching logic to illogical people will never work.

KN95s never really even made known or recognized presence in North America until covid started. I've always ever known N95s only and until Matthew mentioned N99s, ive never really even seen 99s before ever, and I'm a frontline healthcare worker. Yea, KN95s aren't approved medical grade for airborne particle protection when it comes to north American hospital boards. N95s are the only airborne precaution approved masks in Canada I believe in hospitals.

KN95 just seems like one of those made to emulate N95s but is a softer fit that isn't as durable, but seemingly better than those regular cheapo dental masks. I have a few of them because my mom gave some to me where our relatives sent some our way from Korea. my impression is that KN95s are worn and readily more available in parts of east Asia because all of their certificates and authenticity seem Chinese. I hear that some hospitals there do approve these for use, but I don't trust it. either way everyone be careful. still in the 1900s in terms of positive test results in Ontario.

Not unreasonable for us to use if we want to follow NHL.

if having the divisions means matching their schedule and Canadian teams only play Canadian teams then I'd be against realigning. Also, no reason really to realign the divisions but create our own different schedule.

Edit: Do we know if US divisions are having a schedule against each other or is it all in division?

We're going to have to do something away from our usual format given the shorter season and the circumstances with the virus. The goal is to definitely get our season over the finish line.

2021-22 will be another change with Seattle joining the league and the realignment with Arizona moving to the Central. You would hope that season is as close to normal as it gets. It would be great to see fans back in arenas by next fall or winter.

In talks about when to start. Ideally best to do right before season so you get some information from camps, etc.

When the official return-to-play is announced, the waiver draft won't be far behind.

We also need to do another league check-in.
