There's a path to redemption there, it's been there for 4 years. Miller chose not to take it.
Bang on. What he did was horrible, but there is a certain degree to kids (man kind) are can be brutel. The fact that people are so shocked that this still happens is also scary. Kids still get bullied big time. We don't know the 100% story I'm sure, but the biggest problem here is that the young man seems to not have any remorse to what he did, which basically means he still has those view points. Not having the ability to learn and grow makes for a dangerous individual.
