Stupid.

Sockeye or thunderbirds or steelhead would have been better.

Being from the area I would have bought a jersey and hat, but not something as childish as this that has nothing to do with the city.

Lame name. Cool logo and I dig the color scheme. I look forward to hating them

That's already taken, right?

I think Dragons would've been a cool name but the stupid XFL stole that idea.

Kraken is a different name but it'll grow on ya. I didn't really like Golden Knights either. I think the logo is great...simple design and the color scheme is unique.

With expansion teams the name always sounds worse if it's associated with losing right away. The Golden Knights lucked out with instant success so now they're a top brand in the league instead of being a laughing stock.

Release the Butt-Kraken

Image

Love the name, the main logo looks like a secondary... not wild about the colors either. Whatever. I’m a Sharks fan so will hate them anyway.

Was hoping for a huge re-alignment so I wouldn't be stuck behind Lak,cgy, van, edm in my division.

The big re-realignment occurred when Detroit and Columbus moved to the East. Arizona briefly was a Central team after they left Winnipeg. Now Arizona and Winnipeg are in the same division like Dallas and Minnesota are.

True but with 32 teams they may have gone to 8 divisions.

I'm sure they wanted to stick with the divisional playoff format. If they divide the divisions anymore, they might as well get rid of them and just be two conferences...and go back to the top 8 get in.
