Babcock was a really good coach in his early years with the Leafs, but probably should have been fired in the offseason. Personnel just didnt match the system Babcock tried to implement.

the off season looked promising.. trading kadri (useless in playoffs) and getting barrie and Kerfoot in return... I thought a def with muzzin, barrie and reilly was pretty promising..
def has to be the problem they are getting way too many goals against... offense wouldn't come if you can't defense…...

The defense corps is fine. The pairings, which are set by the coach, are the problem. Almost every single one of them was playing out of their element under Babcock.
