edit* hah, saw McKenzie already answered that question: it was all Shanahan apparently

Gotta get there to Flame out.

Babcock was a really good coach in his early years with the Leafs, but probably should have been fired in the offseason. Personnel just didnt match the system Babcock tried to implement.

Kaapo Kahkonen called up. That's 3 goalies.

Now I just need to take care of the Pittsburgh and Columbus goaltenders.

If he has a vetaran team, sure. But the kids... they got tired of being told what to do.

We are about to find out if the core is the problem (entitled) or if it was truly the coach.

the off season looked promising.. trading kadri (useless in playoffs) and getting barrie and Kerfoot in return... I thought a def with muzzin, barrie and reilly was pretty promising..
def has to be the problem they are getting way too many goals against... offense wouldn't come if you can't defense…...

An ideal win to Babcock is winning 0 to -1.

The defense corps is fine. The pairings, which are set by the coach, are the problem. Almost every single one of them was playing out of their element under Babcock.

Sure...we'll go with that. Let's see if they don't continue to be an issue in the playoffs.

It seems that Babcock was pulling this kind of garbage on his own star rookie, I mean what a dinosaur, the kind of crap that Don Cherry would pull.
