Only Comrie and Dahlstrom were claimed...quite a surprise but I don't think teams expect to fill a final roster spot with a waiver claim. I think injuries might dictate that the most.

Dahlstrom to the Jets makes sense...that defense is in shambles. I'm not sure of the goalie situation in Arizona with Comrie other than Raanta is a bit of an injury risk. Are they rolling with 3 goalies?

Raanta currently injured/making his way back again. Some issues with Adin Hill i guess otherwise he'd be the 3rd goalie. Will hold 3 until Raanta returns, then Comrie will be gone

Why is this brutal? He's playing the guys he thinks give him the best opportunity to win. Spezza was being healthy scratched at the end of last season by Dallas too. He shouldn't be gifted a spot.

Let's be real, he wanted to play for his home town team but wouldn't have done it if they didn't have a cup contending roster because ultimately he's chasing a cup not the opportunity to play in Toronto
