The 3rd could become a 2nd if the Sharks go to the Cup Final. Gives the Wings a third 2nd rounder in this spring's draft. I think the Sharks will get better use out of him compared to what the Knights got out of Tatar last year and they obviously overpaid for him.

Considering the Wings are doing the 9-game thing with Zadina...this gives him a possible top 6 role now and they can get a good look before he finishes the season back in the AHL for the playoffs.
