Yeah, lost the gamble there - the stinker by Darling on Sat sealed his fate along Mac continually to win - should've held on to him for just a few more days to see how it played out.Handsome&FairMike wroteCOLONWow - May have saved my season with that Macelhinney trade... did not see this comingShoalzie wroteCOLONSounds like Scott Darling will be on waivers...another bust of a signing resulting in a potential AHL burial.
Darling's numbers prior to last season, in case you missed:Da_Hawks wroteCOLONEveryone saw this coming... except for our Vegas GM and Kyuss.Shoalzie wroteCOLONSounds like Scott Darling will be on waivers...another bust of a signing resulting in a potential AHL burial.

2013-14 Milwaukee Admirals AHL 26 2.00 .933
2014-15 Chicago Blackhawks NHL 14 1.94 .936 | Playoffs 5 2.21 .936
Rockford IceHogs AHL 26 2.20 .927 |
2015-16 Chicago Blackhawks NHL 29 2.58 .915 |
2016-17 Chicago Blackhawks NHL 32 2.38 .924
and overall he has actually not looked bad this season despite the early injury and the current SV%
Carolina may be trying to unload his contract, hoping for STL or PHI to pick him up given their current situation. If they won't, Darling can still get back up with the Canes later on
Darling won't ever again be a good NHL starting goalie. Capable backup? Maybe. But he is not starting material, let alone a Vezina candidate.kyuss wroteCOLONDarling's numbers prior to last season, in case you missed:Da_Hawks wroteCOLONEveryone saw this coming... except for our Vegas GM and Kyuss.Shoalzie wroteCOLONSounds like Scott Darling will be on waivers...another bust of a signing resulting in a potential AHL burial.

Dubnyk yes. Darling no. For about a 5 year stretch there it was Price, Dubnyk, and Mason 1-2-3 in adjusted sv percentage at even strength.Matthew wroteCOLONPeople thought dubnyk was done as an nhl starter and a barely capable backup too. However, both dubnyk and darling had very good underlying numbers for years, so you never know with darling.
Looks like a 1 year deal isn't being considered. Likely traded unless they come together last minuteThe BBKL Insider wroteCOLONAny predictions on Nylander? I think he gets traded this Saturday.
