kaberle situation will sort itself out. id rather not see superstars being signed league wide tilll theyre 45. especially when our gm is too much of a champ to do the same. this is a good decision for the leafs and leaf fans.facey wroteCOLON how? this is shit for us waiting for the Kaberle situation to unfold... it'll jam everything up again.
Why? It's not like he's coming to the Leafs.SuperMario wroteCOLON

doesnt matter. there will be free agents next summer and the summer after that. would you rather see other teams sign them to contracts till 45 when burke has blatantly stated he will not engage in such cheap, unsportsmanlike conduct? not to mention, it is illegal. it violates the spirit of the CBA and circumvents the cap. the outcry for kaberles future up in the air as a reason to hate this decision is stupid. as hockey fans we should want proper rules in place and enforced. thats what this is. everything else will sort itself out.Snipeshow wroteCOLONWhy? inferno31 wroteCOLON6 days to move Kaberle.. All thats left.
This is an isolated situation...It does not benefit the Leafs as Kovy is not on Burkes radar, nor does the vetoing of this deal help the leafs in the long run, front loaded deals will be removed in the next CBA, regardless of the Kovy situation. All this does is cloud the market for Tomas Kaberle.SuperMario wroteCOLONkaberle situation will sort itself out. id rather not see superstars being signed league wide tilll theyre 45. especially when our gm is too much of a champ to do the same. this is a good decision for the leafs and leaf fans.
Yep, everyone else is always the idiots. The NHL is full of natural centers playing wing. Most up and coming prospects in any given draft year are natural centers. If every centerman drafted was forced to play center the wings would be empty on alot of teams. What was Simon Gagne? He had a terrible career on the wing...Think before you speak.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLON Your still an idiot, and apparently so are the Bruins...It's hilarious that they would move a natural centerman with top flight potential to the wing, irregardless of who they already have on the team. It is on par with moving a good young SP to a relief role to start his career. That type of change, and instability seldom produce the desired results.

Agreed, and I knew you'd like it. I still don't like the league investigating contracts it has previously approved. I know thats legal, just seems like overstepping especially on contracts that are already in effect.SuperMario wroteCOLON
