They still do need to worry about the cap floor. Karlsson Phaneuf Hoffman is a lot of cap shedding. I doubt any FA will come here so I guess Boedker is valuable to them? Not sure

he San Jose Sharks have flipped forward Mike Hoffman to the Florida Panthers hours after acquiring him from the Ottawa Senators.
The Panthers will also get a 2018 seventh round draft pick with Hoffman in exchange for a 2019 second round draft pick and 2018 fourth and fifth round draft picks.
