Glad the Rangers got in front of this because it sounded like Kenny was going make a run at bringing him back to Detroit. I don't think it was going to be for as much money but it would've been close.

UFAs are a thing of the past imo. Most teams are learning how to draft and develop. We are seeing a much higher rate of return on drafted players in the past few seasons.
